F1 fever: Race mania gets on to Alisha

LUDHIANA: It was a first for India and for Alisha too. The city girl, chosen a pit babe for the Sahara Force India team, made the most of her first stint at the mega event as the who's who appreciated her energy level and charm at the race.
Alisha added glamour at the Buddh International Circuit along with celebrities like Shahrukh Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Deepika Padukone, Preity Zinta, Arjun Rampal and Suzanne Roshan.
A compliment for her hair style from Siddharth Mallya left her delighted. "Siddharth approached me for a spray bottle which I couldn't give him as I wasn't carrying my kit then. He complimented me and posed for a picture with me,'' said an elated Alisha over the phone.
The speed diva would be back in the city on Monday to party with her family members who are eagerly waiting for her.
It was great to be seated beside celebrities and be treated like a princess, she added.
"The three days I spent on track are the best days of my life as I was surrounded by foreigners and got to be around Vijay Mallya most of the time,'' said Alsiha.
The charm of racing sport has caught on to Alisha as she wishes to drive a sports car someday on a racing track.
"It was nice to see many spectators from my city at the stands and I am sure Ludhianvis are all proud of me now,'' she added. Still in the hangover of the live action, the vroom of the mean formula 1 machines is echoing in her head, said Alisha.
The rush wasn't over though for the Ludhianvi lass as she headed to the after race party and would further travel to various circuits around the world.
